Your iPhone has an Apple app called Health. It is a central place for logging and storing information about your health.
HealthKit is a feature that Apple makes available to app developers. It is a tool that lets apps read data from the Health app and write data to the Health app. HabitMinder has HealthKit integration.
In other words, HabitMinder will sync with your Health app to give you the most up-to-date and comprehensive health information possible.
What Habits Does this Apply to?
HealthKit integration applies to several habits in HabitMinder. You can see the habits with HealthKit integration when you add a new habit. Those with HealthKit integration have a small heart icon in the top right corner.
The habits that have HealthKit integration include:
- Walk
- Exercise
- Stand
- Flights Climbed
- Burn Calories
- Weigh In
- Breathe
- Meditate
- Relax
- Hydrate
When you add one of these apps, you will need to give HabitMinder permission to access your health data in the Health app.
You can change these permissions whenever you want. To change HabitMinder's data permissions, open the Health app.
Select Sources.
Select HabitMinder.
Change the settings as required.
