You can now add WaterMinder widgets to your phone's home screen, making it even easier to track your water intake every day.
Your device will need iOS 14 or above.
Make sure you also update WaterMinder to the latest version 4.2.
How to Add a WaterMinder Widget
1. Tap and hold anywhere on the home screen of your phone. This will make your apps jiggle and display a minus symbol. You'll also see a + symbol in the top right or left corner of your screen. Tap the + symbol. In the search box, start typing WaterMinder. Tap on the option for WaterMinder.
2. You will then see the available widgets. Select the widget you want to add to your home screen.
Widget Options
Current Hydration Simple
This widget gives you a simple visual representation of your current hydration progress.
You can customise various widget settings. The customisation options depend on the widget. To change the settings, tap and hold the widget. A menu will appear. Tap Edit Widget to change the available settings. You also have options for editing your home screen and removing the widget.

Current Hydration with a weekly graph
This widget shows how much water you have consumed so far today as well as your average daily water intake. It also shows a graph showing your water intake history over the past week.
Current Hydration with Cups
This is a large square image with a graphic showing current progress towards your hydration goals as well as more detailed figures. You'll also see your cups. Tapping on a cup automatically opens WaterMinder and records the drink, giving you a way of recording your regularly used cups with a single tap.
Hydration Progress Small
This small, square widget gives you an at-a-glance view of your current daily hydration level. The widget also shows values including the total amount you have consumed, how much you still need to drink to reach your daily goal, and a percentage.
Hydration Progress Widget
This widget displays how much water you have consumed, your progress towards your daily goal, and how much you still have to drink. Your cups are also displayed for quick and easy adding of drinks.
Small Hydration Progress Widget
Small widget to show progress towards your daily goal.
Hydration Progress With Warning
This widget fills up as you progress towards your daily hydration goal.
Hydration Progress with Cups
This widget displays progress towards your daily hydration goal with a graphic and values. Your regular cups are also displayed. Tapping on a cup will automatically record the drink, giving you a one-tap update option.
Detailed Hydration Widget
This is the most detailed widget as it displays today's progress, a graph of your weekly results, and other statistical information so you can keep track of how you are doing.
Today's Graph Progress Small
A small widget showing a graph of today's progress to your daily hydration goal.
Today's Graph Progress Wide
Similar to the above, but with a wider widget.
Removing a WaterMinder Widget From Your Home Screen
1. Tap and hold the widget until the menu appears. Tap Remove Widget.
