FitnessView gives you options to optimize and personalize the tracking of your workouts. Activity Settings is one area where you can change the settings to make them more suited to your requirements.
Accessing Activity Settings
Follow these steps to access Activity Settings:
1. Tap on the Settings icon at the bottom of FitnessView's main screen.
2. Tap on Activity Settings
Units of Measurement
Units is the first option.
This option lets you change the Energy unit of measurement used by FitnessView. The options are:
- kcal - kilocalorie, or calorie
- kJ - kilojoules
Which one you choose will usually depend on your location. One calorie (kcal) equals 4.18 kilojoules (kJ).
To switch between Energy units of measurement, tap on Energy.
Select the option you want.
Permissions
FitnessView uses data from Apple Health to track your workouts throughout the day and provide you with reports and other information to help you stay on top of your health and wellbeing goals. However, the FitnessView app needs you to give permission for this to happen. You can manage these permissions in the Permissions section of Activity Settings.
Remember, if you don't give permission to FitnessView, the app won't be able to properly track and record your workouts.
