We have added a new home screen view to Calory - Journal View. Find out more about the differences between the two view options and how you can change between them.
Journal View vs Default View
The default view is the home screen you are already familiar with:
The default view shows summary information including a graphic of your progress for the day so far as well as a progress bar and percentage. To enter a record, you simply tap the + icon.
The Journal View provides more detailed information and gives you different options for entering a record.
At the top, you have the progress bar and a progress percentage as well as total calories consumed and total calories remaining. This is similar to the information you see on the home screen's default view.
You can also enter a new record by tapping the + icon, just like you can in the default view.
You then have a range of other options for entering records, split up into sections - Breakfast, Lunch, Snacks, Dinner, and Other.
You can see at a glance your progress in relation to each category. This includes the total calories recorded as well as each individual entry.
You can also quickly enter a new record by tapping the + icon on the relevant category.
This opens a screen with options to enter the record.
